Veronica Cantu Ferguson-RN, BSN, CWS is the founder of 360 Wound Solutions. In 2001, she graduated from Del Mar College as a Registered Nurse. She began her career in the Emergency Room and shortly thereafter became passionate with the art of wound care. In 2003 she became part of a strong and knowledgeable wound care team at a Long-Term Acute Care Facility in Austin, Texas. Their team approach helped many patients heal. She has significant experience with patient’s that were diagnosed with complex wounds such as calciphylaxis, pyoderma gangrenosum, fournier’s gangrene, Coumadin necrosis and enteric fistulas.

She continued her wound care growth in California at Mt Diablo Hospital in 2005. Veronica collaborated with the head Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse to implement wound care algorithms and the hospital’s policies and procedures manual. She has extensive experience working side by side with the general surgeons during surgeries, while educating the entire team with the application of KCI Wound V.A.C. and complex wound dressing applications. She was nominated by Mt. Diablo to attend a three-month Evidence Based Practice Research Program affiliated with UCSF and Stanford University. Her research paper was over the Reduction of Nosocomial Pressure Ulcers.

Veronica worked for two large wound care companies from 2007 until 2019. She taught nurses, physical therapist, and physicians in various health care settings how to apply and manage the wound device/supplies on their wound care patient’s. She taught eight different wound care Continuing Education (C.E.) courses to clinicians with the first company. These opportunities awarded her to attend prestigious wound care seminars across the U.S.A.

Veronica grew up in Rockport, TX and married her college sweetheart, John Ferguson. They have two amazing sons, Ethan, and Blake. She feels blessed that she made the decision to open her own business, especially during this challenging time with Covid. She continues to help consult with nurses and physicians over their wound care patient’s needs. 360 Wound Solutions E-commerce website will enable she and her team to help reach as many patient’s locally and across the U.S.
